Beaches
Morro
is a real tropical paradise and and an authentic ecological reseve, where
at low tide the natural pools make this a wonderful place for small and inexperienced
swimmers
With the formation
of the reefs and the clear blue water with its constant temperature of 28
degrees makes the underwater sealife a paradise for fishing and diving.
Morro does
not allow any form of motor vehical here, the only motorized thing you will
find here will be a tractor which transports supplies to the remote areas
of the island. There are no roads here just sandy pathways and alleys.
The first beach
is ppulated by mainly brazilian tourists and the main concentration of pousadas
and restaurants is found here. Also some great waves make this a place for
surfers too.
The second
beach, the most diverse beach, the place for night life.
The third
beach: a calmer option to the second beach, the depating point for most of
the island tours and also for the start of the walk to theForth
beach: which extends for miles, where the large coral reef forms numerous
natural pools where oly a mask and snorkel will suffice to enjoy the sealife.
