Morro
de São Paulo is found on the island of tinhare on the coast in the
south of Bahia it was first frequented by the Portuguese around 1935. Morro
is rich in its history, like the fort that was built to protect the island
that is now a popular place to watch the sunset, also the lighthouse with
it’s fabulous views of the tropical beaches and the reefs with the natural
pools that form within.
Today morro is one of the most sought after tourist spots in Bahia, frequented by foreiners and brasilians alike.
The multicoloured sealife and vegetation makes the island and its neighbours a perfect option to explore. The second beach at night becomes the party beach. Everybody that lives here will be hsappy to help you and give information on this spectacular island.
